Meet Our Staff and Ministry Leaders
The people you’ll meet here at Stoney Creek have a variety of roles, but we share a common desire: to serve Christ and His church faithfully. We’re grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside our church family, using the gifts God has given us to encourage, equip, and care for one another.
Mark Farrow
Mark has been serving as a pastor at Stoney Creek since 2008. Beginning as youth pastor, he transitioned to the lead pastor role in 2015. His heart is to see our church family caring for one another and devoted to the Great Commission both locally and globally.
He is married to Yvonne and together they have six children, four through adoption.
Mark DeVries
Mark began serving as Associate Pastor in April 2026. He provides leadership for all things discipleship and administration. He is married to Kristin and together have two adult children.
Barbara Ayton
When you call the church, Barbara will be your first point of contact. She provides administrative leadership and oversight to all activities of the church office.
Emily Minor
Emily provides leadership in our children's ministry and administrative support for our many volunteer ministry leaders part-time.
Mike Lee
Mike serves as part-time staff at Stoney Creek, overseeing the church’s media production, including the technical and media aspects of our Sunday morning services. He also manages the church website and supports the technical needs of our various ministries throughout the church.
Ministry Leaders
Paul Penny
Paul provides oversight to the congregational care and visitation ministry of the church.
Justin Ayton
Justin leads our 628 Junior High Ministry to Grade 6 to 8 students.
Andrew & Diane Gale
Andrew & Diane lead our ministry to grade 9 to 12 students. Their passion is to see students discipled, growing, and thriving in their relationship with Jesus. Together they have 5 children.
Gwen Penny
Gwen leads our Women's Ministries, from Thursday morning Ladies Bible Study to special events throughout the year.
Ralph Schinkel
Ralph provides leadership to our Men's Ministries, from Saturday morning Bible studies to events throughout the year.
Rosanne Shortt
Rosanne leads our Primetime Ministry for Seniors, coordinating monthly gatherings and special events throughout the year.
Marla Harrison, Andy Reid, & Laura Dearing
Marla, Andy and Laura provide leadership for our Sunday morning worship teams.
George & Judy Attrill, Vickie Vasseur
George, Judy and Vickie lead our grief recovery support group where you can find help and healing after losing a loved one.
